Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services or submitting a repair request. By engaging with Tech Fix, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By dropping off a device, requesting a repair quote (online or in-store), or using any service provided by Tech Fix Cell Phone Repair & Accessories ('Tech Fix,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our'), you ('Customer,' 'you,' or your') agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not submit a repair request or leave your device with us. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

Note: These Terms apply to all repair services, accessory purchases, and quote requests — whether

completed in-store at our Decatur, GA location or initiated online at our website.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

Tech Fix provides mobile device repair and accessory sales, including but not limited to:

• Screen and display repair/replacement (iPhone, Samsung, Motorola & all major brands)

• Battery replacement

• Water damage diagnostic and repair

• Charging port repair

• Camera, speaker, and microphone repair

• iPad and tablet repair

• Data recovery services

• Retail sale of phone accessories

All services are performed by our trained technicians at our Decatur, Georgia location. We do not perform services at customer locations.

3. ESTIMATES & QUOTES

Free quote requests submitted through our website are preliminary estimates only and are not guaranteed fixed prices. Final pricing is confirmed after a physical inspection of your device at our store.

• Online quotes are based on the information you provide and may differ from the final service cost.

• You will be notified of the final cost before any repair work begins.

• You have the right to decline service after receiving a formal in-store estimate, with no obligation to pay for diagnostic evaluation unless otherwise stated.

• Diagnostic fees, if applicable, will be disclosed prior to inspection.

Important: Submitting a free quote request online does not constitute a repair agreement or guarantee availability. An in-store appointment or visit is required to confirm service.

4. DEVICE DROP-OFF & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

When you drop off a device for repair, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Back up your data before drop-off. Tech Fix is not responsible for data loss that occurs during the repair process.

• You represent that you are the lawful owner of the device or have authorization from the owner to authorize repair.

• You must disable any screen lock, passcode, or remote lock (such as Find My iPhone / Google FRP) before drop-off, or provide credentials if these are necessary for the repair.

• We are not responsible for any pre-existing cosmetic damage or other damage present before drop-off.

• A condition report will be documented at drop-off. Please review and confirm accuracy before leaving your device

5. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due upon completion and pickup of your device, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed to in writing.

• We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and other payment methods posted in-store.

• Full payment is required before the repaired device is released to the customer.

• Prices quoted in-store are final unless an unforeseen additional issue is discovered, in which case you will be contacted for authorization before additional work proceeds.

• Refused work after repair has been completed will result in reassembly fees.

6. WARRANTY ON REPAIRS

Tech Fix stands behind the quality of our work. All completed repairs are covered by a limited warranty:

• Parts and labor are warranted against defects for 2 weeks from the date of repair.

• Screen replacements are covered for defects in the replacement part, not for subsequent physical damage.

• Battery replacements are warranted for 2 weeks against defects in capacity or performance.

The warranty does NOT cover:

• Physical damage, cracks, or breakage after repair pickup

• Water or liquid damage incurred after repair

• Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or third-party repairs

• Normal wear and tear

• Software issues unrelated to the repair performed

To make a warranty claim, bring your device and original receipt to our Decatur location within the warranty period.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tech Fix's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific repair or service in question. Tech Fix is not liable for:

• Loss of data, contacts, photos, applications, or other content stored on your device

• Loss of business, revenue, or profits resulting from device downtime

• Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind

• Pre-existing hardware defects unrelated to the repair service performed

• Damage resulting from manufacturer defects discovered during repair

8. DATA & PRIVACY

When you submit a free quote request through our website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service type, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and provide our services.

Our technicians may need to access your device during repair but are instructed not to view, copy, or share personal information stored on your device. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. UNCLAIMED DEVICES

• Customers will be notified by phone or email when a repair is completed.

• Devices not picked up within 2 weeks of completion notice will be considered abandoned.

• Abandoned devices may be subject to storage fees or disposed of in accordance with applicable Georgia law after proper notification attempts.

• Tech Fix is not liable for devices left beyond the 2 weeks pickup window.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Tech Fix reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website or display in-store. Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
